A first mate may act as skipper of the club’s archipelago yachts (s/y Electrip and s/y Gintrip). A captain can also act as the skipper of the coastal cruiser (s/y FirsTrip). Acting as a skipper also requires boat-specific orientation.

Keys of the boats
All active skippers marked on the skipper list have the keys to the boat. A new skipper receives the keys from the treasurer after paying the deposit to Trip’s account (Nordea: FI96 1309 3000 2052 52, reference 47416). As of 2013, all keys are subject to a deposit. The deposit is 20 euros (before 2013, 15 euros for boat keys). When returning the key, the deposit is returned. The key must be returned when it is no longer actively being used. The key can be returned to the treasurer or another board member.
