Sailings
You need different kinds of equipment for sailings depending on the implementation and weather. Below you will find gear lists for evening and day sailings and trip sailings.
Evening and day sailings
(doesn’t include an overnight)
- water- and windproof clothing
- several layers of warm clothing
- headwear, eg. a beanie
- a pair of warm gloves
- a pair of gloves, that you can handle ropes with
- sunglasses
- sunscreen
- water bottle
- a change of clothes
- a pair of comfortable shoes, preferably weatherproof
- shoes for a rainy day
- sea sickness medicine if needed
- snacks
Trip sailing
(includes 1-3 overnights)
Additional gear for overnight trip
- a sleeping bag
- toiletry kit
- personal prescription drugs
- a towel
- swimwear
- a headlamp / a torch
- earplugs
