The board requires at least a Commodore (Chairperson), a Secretary, and a Treasurer. Other important roles on the TRIP board include the Boat Maintenance Chief, Education Coordinator, Race Coordinator, Event Coordinator, and Communications Officer. You can run for a position on-site during the meeting yourself, or have a friend represent you. <u>Official board positions require fluency in Finnish<\/u>. Other club Officer positions do not explicitly require skills in Finnish.\u00a0If you wish to run for a position but cannot attend in person, please contact the board (<a style=\"color: #333333;\" href=\"mailto:hallitus@teekkaripurjehtijat.fi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hallitus@teekkaripurjehtijat.<wbr \/>fi<\/a>), fill out <a style=\"color: #333333;\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/uoXT2ZARHooZwAuV6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/forms.gle\/uoXT2ZARHooZwAuV6&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1794150360437000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3o-IaaVAFq1L0jDgHM52NF\">this form<\/a>, or arrange for a friend to represent you at the meeting.<br \/><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><br \/>According to the association\u2019s rules, the election meeting will elect:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">The Commodore, Secretary, and Treasurer of Teekkaripurjehtijat, as well as two to six (2\u20136) board members for the next term\u00a0 (Finnish required)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">The officers of Teekkaripurjehtijat for the next term<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Two performance auditors and their personal deputies for the next term (Finnish required)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><br \/>All members of Teekkaripurjehtijat have the right to attend and speak at the meetings, but only full members (members who are also members of AYY) have voting rights in the association&#8217;s meetings. Please be prepared to prove your AYY membership if needed. The agenda for the meeting is attached.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>After the meeting, the Teekkaripurjehtijat pre-Christmas party begins!<\/b> There will be food and drinks, a sauna, <u>and, as a new addition, a hot tub<\/u>! Festive Christmas outfits or accessories are highly encouraged.<\/p>\n<p><i>NOTE!
